想某人的英语怎么说

当表达想起或想到某人或某物时，乍一看用 think of 和 think about 意思基本上一样，它们是两种常用的表达方式，都是在 think 的末尾上介词，是对应于 think 的常见的短语动词，但它们还是有区别的。

一、think of 用来表示回忆的，当你想起某件事时用 think of，而且持续的时间较短，例如：

I think of my car when I watch the races.

我看比赛的时候会想起我的车。​

解析：当他观看比赛时，他想起了自己的车。或者，我们可以说，当一个人观看比赛时，会在脑海中回忆起自己的汽车。

He thinks of his award whenever he sees another getting one.

每当他看到别人得到奖品时，他就会想起他的奖品。

解析：每当他看到另一个人得到类似的奖励时，就会想起给他的奖励。

又如：

I thought of you immediately when they said they wanted someone who could speak English.

当他们说想要一个会说英语的人时，我立刻想到了你。

二、think about 表示的是因喜爱或任何其他感情而产生的兴趣，而且会持续一段时间，例如：

He was thinking about the time he spent in the army.

他在想他在军队里度过的时光。

解析：他对军队里度过的时光感兴趣是因为很喜欢那段时光。

He thinks about his home when he is away from it.

当他离开家时，他会想到他的家。

解析：他对他的家的兴趣是通过 think about 来表达的。

又如：

He was thinking about the time he spent in the army.

他在想他在军队里度过的时光。

三、两者的区别

1、 think of 是用来表达回忆的，换句话说，当你想起某件事时，用的是 think of，而 think about 表达的是因喜爱或任何其他感情而产生的兴趣，这是两者的主要区别。

2、think of 强调的是短暂的回忆，所以持续的时间比 think about 短，这也是两者重要的区别。
